Taylor Brook Animal Hospital is a small team committed to excellence in general veterinary medicine, surgery, dentistry, and client education. At Taylor Brook Animal Hospital your pet will be treated with dignity and respect. We are uncompromising in our standards of care. This is especially important in the area of pain management and sick patient care. We have comprehensive capabilities with radiology, an in-house laboratory, full scale surgery and dentistry.

Dr. Sanders is a 1995 graduate of Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. She has practiced in Maine since graduation, primarily in the field of small and exotic animal medicine and surgery. Joining Dr. Sanders as a business partner in November 2011 is Dr. Michael Binette, a 1999 graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. Together they have 28 years of clinical experience and a shared vision to uphold the standards and ethics of the veterinary profession.

We are proud to announce the addition of state of the art equipment, including a multi-parameter anesthetic monitor, a state of the art dental unit with extraction capabilities, warm water circulating blankets, IV fluid warmers, and a new computer system with electronic records to name a few. We are committed to the most current medical and surgical practices in the industry and this equipment helps us accomplish these goals.

Pain management is one of our top priorities and we have implemented aggressive pain management protocols for all surgical patients, bar none. Research has shown that pain control is a leading influential factor in post surgical recuperation. Our team of very skilled technicians will ensure that your pet gets the most nurturing of care.
